3RD ANNUAL HOLIDAY BOOK FAIR

sponsored by Society of Southwestern Authors - Santa Cruz Valley

Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley, AZ

Donna will join dozens of Arizona authors for the largest book fair in Southern Arizona. Donna will sign THOUGHTS FROM JAPAN and will also offer a variety of Japanese items: handmade washi blank notecards, unique book marks, Christmas cards--and for the first time--her own by-hand Origami paper cranes for Christmas ornaments. Japan's crane symbolizes longevity and ever-lasting healing...common practice is to make strings of 1,000 cranes for good luck, health, and peace. Hundreds of these crane strings are found year-round at the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Peace Memorials.

Lots of time will be provided for questions and conversation.

Two other Arizona writers will join this session, a sci-fi/fantasy writer and a children's author. Sponsored by Writers Unite to Fight Cancer - all three authors will donate a portion of their book sales to the American Association of Cancer Research.

RADIO INTERVIEW

Achieve Radio features the unique program, "Law of Distraction and Interruption", hosted by author/consultant/musician/Renaissance Man Joe Carroccio. Joe is a great interviewer and clearly cares about the world we all live in. This 15-minute interview is about my book, and post-disaster reports from many of my Japanese friends on the March 11 tsunami/earthquake/nuclear reactor crisis.

My interview will enter the radio program's archives on Monday, June 13, so listen at your convenience.
